About Prophezine
Prophezine deals with Bible Prophecy and World Events from a Pre-tribulation, pre-millennial, dispensationalist stand point. We currently serve close to 60,000+ (and growing) people world wide with a newsletter, news updates and website.
The Mission of Prophezine is to carry out the command of the Lord Christ Jesus:
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations" Matthew 28:19
Prophezine is a Christian publication grounded in the deity of Christ and the inerrancy of scripture. The major intent of the editors is the presentation of the Gospel:
"For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; ." 1 Cor. 15:3-4
What We Believe
We accept the Holy Scriptures as contained in the Old and New Testaments as being the verbally inspired Word of God and being perfectly preserved in the King James Bible. We do not believe it can be corrected or improved upon in any way. It is the final rule of faith and practice. We believe in the triune God, who is eternally in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
We believe in the deity of Christ - His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death for the sins of the world, His bodily resurrection, His exaltation at God's right hand, His person, imminent, and premillenial return.
We believe all men are sinners and are guilty before God: in need of a Saviour.
We believe that men are born again through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ; that they become the children of God, eternally saved; that the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer to guide and help him in his testimony and service.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in Glory, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost in hell. We believe that all believers have a responsibility to get the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ into all the world.
What is Prophezine
Prophezine: the Newsletter began in 1993 as a ministry of sharing news of interest via e-mail, gradually evolving into an electronic newsletter. This is the "core" of the Prophezine ministry. The newsletter is packed with articles concerning prophecy, end-times events, and world conditions of special interest to Christians, as well as timely newsbytes.
The Prophezine website is an outgrowth and extension of the newsletter. In fact, the website has become the driving force behind the Prophezine ministry. In the past on the site we have had a guestbook, discussion boards (forums), archived newsletters, the PZ Alliance division, News Bites Email List, and more! The future brings bigger and better.
Ray Gano - Executive Director
I was born May 9, 1961 and raised in the Silicon Valley in California. I attended a private Christian school from 5th grade through high school. I have known the Lord all my life, but only started really serving Him 110% about 1993. I have been into Bible prophecy much of my Christian walk. I now live in Texas with my wife Tracye and our 4 children.
One day while I was visiting my best friend in Montana, he told me about what was going on in the world and that our time here is short. At first I blew him off and said "Yeah right, Rapture and the Mark of the Beast." Tim told me to check it out for myself. So, as a good Berean would, I started digging into the Word and watching the news. Pieces of the puzzle started to come together. Israel a nation... Russia... the EU... smart cards... bio-chips... on and on it went. All this time Tim and I were sending e-mail back and forth keeping each other abreast of any news we found out. A little time later more people joined our e-mail list. And that is how Prophezine came about. Ever since that time I have had a sense of urgency about spreading the Gospel— telling people about the Good News that our Lord is returning soon.
I started publishing Prophezine about 1993 and the Lord has really been blessing me and this work.
One the main reasons I published Prophezine was to let people see that Bible prophecy is coming to pass and things that are spoken about in the Bible are true. Many people are not interested in "listening about Jesus," but when you begin to tell them about what is going to happen in the future, they are all ears. The Lord has opened many doors this way, allowing me to spread the Good News about our Lord and Savior.
Another reason I published Prophezine is because there are many Christians out there who have fallen asleep and/or forgotten their first love just as I had.
I believe that other Christians need a wake up call much like what happened to me a few years ago. That is why I go to great extents to show different stories and web sites as proof that prophecy is coming to pass— the "Shock Treatment." At least that is how it felt to me when my friend and I spoke that first time. A little voice inside my head said" HEY! Wake up and smell the coffee, Ray!" So, in sharing Prophezine with you, I do not mean to frighten you but to inform you of crucial truth.
I pray that our Lord continues blessing you and your loved ones, until we meet together in the clouds with our Lord.
Tracye Gano - Executive Director
I am a child of God, the wife of Ray Gano founder and owner of Prophezine and mother of 4. I have been a born again Christian since August 8th, 1988. I came to know the Lord Jesus Christ during a crisis in my life and have never looked back. It was the turning point in my life here on earth as well as my eternal life. I have studied the Word over the years and believe with all my heart that it is the final authority for my life and every true born again believers life. I strive to know God more each day through His Son.
Professionally I am a web designer, and a writer. I enjoy being creative and I enjoy helping others. Ray and I work side by side trying to bring the truth of God's Word to many through the Prophezine ministry. We both believe we are living in the last days and want others to know there is hope in Jesus Christ. If you know the Lord Jesus Christ there is no fear of things to come because He is the Alpha and Omega. God has given us His written Word the Holy Bible to be our plumb line for everything in life.
It is my hope and my prayer that many will be touched by Prophezine and be pointed to Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Being a PZ Insider / Subscription - Why We Charge a Subscription
I often get the question, "Why do you charge a subscription?"
For over 10 years Prophezine has been free. In that ten years I know that the newsletter sat in many bathrooms, next to someone's bed or most times was just deleted from their email.
The reason many people did this is because there was no value placed on the work that we do here nor on the newsletter. Since there was no value, no body really cared about the newsletter and the articles. Since no body cared, no body shared. Why share something when you have no stake in it?
Here is an email I got from one of our PZ Insiders recently...
"Wow! These are great articles -- just printed out the report on Deceptions ... by Alan Yusko. I had my eyes open on some of these - C.S. Lewis, for one. Can't wait to share this with others. Thanks. Just listening for that trumpet" -- Marge
We get these sort of emails all the time now. These emails state that they SHARE the PZ Insider Report. They share it with others because they now have placed value on the newsletter.
I tell my insiders to work hard at sharing the PZ Insider Report with everyone they can, and they do! This is exciting to me because the gospel and the information is getting out to the world in a big way.
When I came back to Prophezine, I wanted to be as effective for the Lord as possible. To do that, we needed to have people see "value" in what it is we were producing. When there is value, people share it, when it is free, it just lies around and gathers dust.
