Share The Cross, For Hell Waits Upon Them
By Ray Gano

This week has been amazing; we have seen four well known celebrities die.

  • Ed McMahon
  • Farrah Fawcett
  • Michael Jackson
  • Billy Mays

But the one who is taking most of the airplay is Michael Jackson, the king of pop.

I have been reading a lot of articles about Michael, and out of that I realized something…. I believe Michael was a saddened miserable soul seeking to fill a hole he did not know how to fill.

Last night I came across an article by David Pack. For those of you who do not know who David Pack is, he is the music director of Saddleback Church, the very same church that world famous author of The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren leads.

When I was reading David’s article I was literally to the point of vomiting, but not only that, I was angry too.

If you have not read this article, you can read it here.

Michael Jackson, Jesus, and Me - My story of Christian fellowship with the King of Pop
By David Pack

http://www.purposedriven.com/content.do?method=articlePage&contentId=201483

What upset me is that in and among all smoking, joking and bottles of wine, David writes…

“During that special evening, I felt the need to share my faith with him, to let him know that another Christian artist was sitting next to him. So when he whispered, “How can I ever thank you for this wonderful night?” I said, “Michael, I didn’t put this together, God did!” He said, “Oh yes, I believe that with all of my heart.”

I told him I was a Christian, and he said he was, too. We talked about the first Christian song we’d both heard as children: “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so. Little ones to him belong, they are weak but he is strong.” With the dinner party loudly going on around us, we both quietly leaned in and sang the song, smiling like choirboys. “Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.” Then we gave each other a short embrace.

I knew at that moment that this sweet-spirited young genius was going to find his eternal peace in heaven.”

david_standing.jpgSo based on singing a children’s gospel song and a couple of words about God putting the dinner together this man is able to claim…

“one of the greatest artists of our time is now moon-walking along the gold paved roads of heaven, where streets have no name, with a broad smile on his face, and a band of angels welcoming him home.”

I am dumbfounded, but more than that I am angry.

Odds are very good that Michael Jackson is burning in hell.

Now before you call me a heretic and think that I am judging the heart of Michael Jackson, I am not.

Scripture says…

Matthew 7:20 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Isaiah 8:20 (KJV) "to the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them."

1 Corinthians 10:21 (KJV)  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils

1John 2:4-5(KJV)  He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5  But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

Michael Jackson was a devout Jehovah’s Witness for most of his life, an alleged pedophile, drug user, recently converted to Islam and is alleged to have been a homosexual.

'I'm Better Off Dead. I'm Done': Michael Jackson's Fateful Prediction Just A Week Before His Death
By Ian Halperin

“Michael was homosexual and that his taste was for young men, albeit not as young as Jordan Chandler or Gavin Arvizo.

In the course of my investigations, I spoke to two of his gay lovers, one a Hollywood waiter, the other an aspiring actor. The waiter had remained friends, perhaps more, with the singer until his death last week. He had served Jackson at a restaurant, Jackson made his interest plain and the two slept together the following night. According to the waiter, Jackson fell in love.”

But as I have stated Michael was a saddened soul seeking to fill a hole he did not know how to fill. He even befriended new age guro Deepak Chopra.

David Pack knew Michael Jackson? Did he make sure that Michael really knew the Lord? Or did he just sit there, smoke, joke, drink wine and sing children’s gospel songs?

I am upset that there are many, many people out there like David Pack selling a sugar coated false gospel about a Jesus that is not in the bible. What people like David Pack, Rick Warren, Joel Osteen and the like are doing is ushering people to Hell and that is a fact.

The following scriptures are the most crucial warnings Christ has stated…

Mat 7:15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Mat 7:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Mat 7:17  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Mat 7:18  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Mat 7:19  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Mat 7:20  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Mat 7:21  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Mat 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

What would have happened if David Pack had the real guts to share the true Christ with Michael Jackson at that party? Would it have made a difference?

Does David Pack really know Jesus himself or is he one of the many spoken of in Matthew 7:21?

People like David Pack and others like him literally bring out the righteous anger in me.

Why? You see, right now what we do on this earth is what will count.

For example, if we do not know the Lord and we die, well game over. All our chances to do what is right, is here on this earth during this time…. Right Now… Today.

Our choices here on earth are very critical and we fall into one of two scenarios.  And in fact everyone will face one or the other of these scenarios.

Scenario #1 – The Christian… Bema Seat Judgement

1Corinthians  3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Corinthians  3:12  Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

1Corinthians  3:13  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

1Corinthians  3:14  If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

1Corinthians  3:15  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Scenario #2 – The Unsaved… The White Throne Judgement

Revelation 20:11  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Revelation 20:12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Revelation 20:13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Revelation 20:14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Revelation 20:15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Many of us know the Great White Throne Judgment. But did you catch the judgment in  1Corinthians 3:15

1Corinthians 3:15  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Well how can this be? What did I do? How shall I suffer loss?

You see, it’s not what we did to suffer loss, it is more like what we did not do…

1Cor 15:34  Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

In essence how much are you doing here for the Lord and how much are you doing here for yourself and the world?

But the biggest issue is how much loss are you going to suffer? How many rewards are you going to be missing out on? What are our actions that will speak to our shame?

Remember David sitting there singing children’s songs having no male fortitude to clearly ask if Michael Jackson really knew the Lord or not?

Yes we are going to be in the greatest place called heaven and we will be with our Lord, but what will your regrets be when you are there? How many rewards will you see others have but you don’t because you did not take the time here on earth to do what is right?

Do you think that the person who just skipping through the Christian life is going to get the same rewards as a martyr who died at the stake proclaiming Christ?  No.

Here is another example:

2Timothy 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Paul says that the crown of righteousness is for those who look forward to and love His appearing.

How many of you are looking forward to His appearing vs. how many of you are looking forward to what the world has to offer tomorrow.

Revelation 22:11  He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Revelation 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

The world’s mentality….

- If it feels good do it

- It is all about me.

Here is what our mentality should be…

Joshua 24:15  And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Isaiah 6:8  Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.

But if you are in the second group and you are going to heaven, will you suffer loss for not doing what is right and just in earning your heavenly rewards. Or worse are you more concerned about your rewards here on earth? You know, the best car, the best home, 3 kids, and a dog named spot living in the “beautiful” part of town.

When we die or are taken up, the clock stops and there are no “do overs” our dye is cast and our deeds will be weighed.

The time to stand and make a difference is now. Work for your rewards in heaven, not for your wood and stubble here on earth.

We are living in the last days of the last days. People’s souls are at stake. We need to seriously be about the Fathers business.

How many people have you sat with, like David Pack did, and accept that someone is saved because they know the words to a children’s gospel song?

Folks this should be a wake up call to all; saved and unsaved.

To the saved we are reminded of the following…

1Peter 3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

We read about the young man burned and died crying out to hear the gospel. We saw this young Muslim woman dying without the Lord. What would have happened to these lost souls if there was a person who could have shared the gospel?

We must always be ready to share the hope of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is our reasonable service.

To the Unsaved, do not allow yourself to die a remorseful death due to the fact that you do not know the Lord.

Jesus Christ loves you and wished to spend eternity with you. Christ told us himself that He goes to prepare a place for us with our Heavenly Father.

John 14:2 -3 (KJV)  In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

But there is one thing that separates us from the Father and that is Sin. Scripture tells us that all of us have sinned and that the wages of sin is death.

Romans 3:23 (KJV)  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 6:23 (KJV)  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But there is good news, for Christ himself paid the price with his own blood on the cross for our sins that we may be cleansed from all unrighteousness. To accept this gift of forgiveness, all we need to do is to confess that we are a sinner in need of a savior, repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

God’s Word promises us that…

1John 1:9 (KJV)  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior; please do not wait.

If you know you are a sinner and have never made that confession and believed on the Lord Jesus Christ. Please consider the following prayer!

“Father in heaven, I know I am a sinner and that there is nothing that I can do on my own to go to heaven. It is only through your son Jesus Christ and the price that He paid just for me that will cleanse my sins. Father please forgive me and wash my sins away. Please come into my life, my heart, my soul and let me be a child of God. Father I thank you for hearing my prayer and forgiving my sin. From this day forward I choose to serve the one true and living God and His son Jesus Christ… amen.“

Folks; time is short and we are living in the last days of the last days. We need to be ready at all times to share the gospel and the blessed hope of our Lord’s soon return.

Always remember …

Luke 21:28 (KJV)  And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
