The Here and Now

I am sitting here wondering what to write. It is New Years Eve and I am reflecting on the years past, but also wondering what the New Year will bring. I am concerned about the New Year and yet I am very optimistic and hopeful.

I guess my biggest concern is the impending North American Union or the NAU as some call it.

As many of you know the Council on Foreign Relations has stated that this will all come together by 2010. That is two years from now.

Robert A. Pastor addressed the CFR and gave a speech entitled “A North American Community Approach to Security.”

This speech laid out the plans and our future here in the US.

Pastor states…

“The Council on Foreign Relations Task Force Report spells out such a vision. Let me summarize and amplify some of its recommendations.

NAFTA has failed to create a partnership because North American governments have not changed the way they deal with one another. Dual bilateralism, driven by U.S. power, continue to govern and irritate. Adding a third party to bilateral disputes vastly increases the chance that rules, not power, will resolve problems.

This trilateral approach should be institutionalized in a new North American Advisory Council…

The U.S. Congress should also merge the U.S.-Mexican and U.S.-Canadian interparliamentary groups into a single “North American Parliamentary Group.” A third institution should be a “Permanent Tribunal on Trade and Investment.” NAFTA established ad hoc dispute panels, but it has become difficult to find experts who do not have a conflict of interest to arbitrate conflicts. A permanent court would permit the accumulation of precedent and lay the groundwork for North American business law.

Canada and Mexico have long organized their governments to give priority to their bilateral relationships with the United States. Washington alone is poorly organized to address North American issues. To balance U.S. domestic interests with those in the continent, President Bush should appoint a White House adviser for North American affairs. Such a figure would chair a cabinet-level interagency task force on North America. No president can forge a coherent U.S. policy toward North America without such a wholesale reorganization.”

He goes on and you can read the entire report at the URL given. Short and sweet, things will be in place and the union will be here by 2010. The CFR is being very bold in stating this and they have been working on this for quiet some time.

Ever get instructions to a power tool or kitchen appliance? For the past 5+ years I have noticed 3 languages in the instructions.

Can you name them?

They are English, Spanish and French.

These are the same three languages for North and Central America.

The powers that be have been busy bees working at this plan for a long time and I will be bold enough and say there isn’t much that can stop it either.

In Canada and Mexico, the NAU / SPP is common knowledge, but here in the US it is still under wraps and not very well known to the common man. Yes the internet has done a good job of getting the word out, but a good number of people here in the US do not know and to be honest, do not care either. They are so involved in running the rat race that everything around them is oblivious.

Remember the story of slow boiling frogs?

That is why I am concerned.

See 2010 is only two years off and we know that the powers that be want the NAU in place by 2010.

My question is will the American people gladly fork over their liberty and sovereignty loosing their nation in place of a North American Union?

I believe that there will be people who will gladly do this, but I am also concerned that there will be many who will not.

I think that something will have to take place to push the American people into willful compliance be it a terrorist action, financial meltdown, TB or Avian Flu out break, Nuclear war, Dirty bombs, or all of the above. There is a plethora of things that could take place that would cause “shock and awe” and thus move this nation into the direction those behind the throne wish us to go.

Now some of you might be asking “ Hey Ray, I thought that you were hopeful and optimistic?”

Yes I am. You see, out of this I see a great opportunity to share the gospel. When trials and tribulations take place people are open to hearing God’s good news that His only begotten son died for yours as well and my sins.

I feel that we as Christians are possibly in for a rough ride these next several years. Every year around this time we hear that “the next year will be a pivotal year.”

I have even said that myself.

I believe the key is minimizing our “radar signature” and yet raising our effectiveness.

Being watchmen on the wall we can look out over the wall and see out across the valley and see what others can not. We are able to do this due to our position, which is upon the wall. We are well concealed to the enemy forces out in the valley and yet we remain effective being watchmen on the wall and to yell down into the city telling the people what we see and what is coming. Now more than ever we need to be vigilant, wise and sober as well as working together.

I am excited about what the New Year will bring. Tracye and I are working hard to take Prophezine even further. Our latest endeavor is Prophezine’s This Week In Bible Prophecy. We have been seeing rising number of views and this is due much to you helping us get the word out. Your involvement is helping big time. By all of us working together as an effective force, we can all be part of getting the gospel out.
