An interesting event took place here in our neck of the woods a few days ago that I have to say that I am very proud.

On 06/17/2006 in San Antonio TX,  More than 100 people joined Christian radio talk show host Adam McManus on Friday evening to picket a busy H-E-B™ grocery store waving brightly colored signs at passing commuters with phrases like "H-E-B™ pushes the homosexual agenda," and "H-E-B™ promotes sodomy." (1)

H-E-B™ is a popular grocery store here in the state of Texas. If you do not know, June is also Gay Pride month. Gay Pride is an interesting phrase. It is more like an oxymoron when one really considers the act.

So what is an “oxymoron”?

Wikipedia states that an oxymoron (plural "oxymora" or "oxymorons") (noun) is a figure of speech that combines two normally contradictory terms (e.g. "deafening silence"). Oxymoron is a Greek term derived from oxy ("sharp") and moros ("dull"). Oxymora are a proper subset of the expressions called a contradiction in terms. What distinguishes oxymora from other paradoxes and contradictions is that they are used intentionally, for rhetorical effect, and the contradiction is only apparent, as the combination of terms provides a novel expression of some concept.

The term “Gay Pride” is yet another oxymoron, but there are many who would probably disagree with me.

But why do I consider it an oxymoron?

If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination..." -Leviticus 20:13

"And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly...Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them." -Romans 1:27,32

A sin is a sin in the eyes of God. That we do understand. Sodomy and sodomites also called Homosexuality or Gay as a means to desensitize, is more than that, it is an abomination to God. It is worse than a sin it is an abomination.

Do you understand what the act of sodomy really is? It is a very unnatural act.

Do you know the human body is not made to accept this sort of activity?

Here are some words out of a sodomite’s own mouth. A warning here, this is somewhat graphic subject matter.

“Gay men who practice anal receptive intercourse [being the receiving "bottom" during anal sodomy] may develop an acute fissure from direct injury ... Most often men who have had anal intercourse have already stretched their sphincter (I'm sure you can figure out how) and spasm is rarely present. The fissure usually will heal if the surgeon removes the scar tissue and closes the tear with a few stitches. Keep this in mind if a surgeon tells you a sphincterotomy is necessary. In this instance, you might be placing yourself at a higher risk for incontinence because your sphincter is already loose. You can always go back for a sphincterotomy if your fissure doesn't heal after simple closure.” (2)

So what this doctor who also partakes in this practice states that it is destructive to one’s own body.

Sin’s results effects society as a whole! Individuals and families are impacted as a result of rejection of Gods’ design for the good of humanity. Devastating sexually transmitted diseases are now rampant around the world. HIV and the resultant AIDS deaths are a direct result of sodomy and sodomites intransigent demands for sexual license. Even now they refuse to limit their activities or control their lusts and are demanding more and more 'rights' such as homosexual 'marriage', adoption, and removal of age of consent laws and restrictions. That is the main trouble with Sodomy!!

And you know what? These Sodomites, Gays, Homosexuals, what ever you want to call them are PROUD OF THIS!!! Why else have a Gay Pride Month, Gay Pride Day, Gay Pride anything?

To put it bluntly, they are proud that they are performing acts with their own body that puts them into an early grave. They are proud of this and are shaking their fists at God. The sodomites are proud that they are not only destroying their own lives and their own bodies, but all of society as a whole.

Sodomites are proud that instead of a life style, they live a death style! Their sin is an abomination to God and the wages of sin are death. Do you understand that the median (average middle number) age of death for Sodomites, homosexuals, gays is about the same nationwide: Less than 2% survive until old age! The average American now lives to be about 70. For male gays who die of AIDS, the median age is 39. For male gays who die of something else, the median age at death is 42. The median age at death of lesbians is 44. (3)

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

So do you understand that the phrase Gay Pride is a very sad term that is used today? These people are dieing and they are proud of it.

Folks, it does not matter what I think, you think, ect. What does matter is what the Word of God says. It is very clear on this matter. The Bible makes no apologies.  Homosexuality is Sodomy, it is wickedness in the sight of God. Just because you CHOOSE not to believe in the bible does not change the facts either.

"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day." -John 12:48

Every Christian believer should stand with uncompromising protest against homosexuality. It is unimaginable that a day would come in America when a homosexuality agenda would be forced upon children in our public schools.  We MUST protest against such evils in our society.  The word "protest" means...protest: The act of making a strong public expression of disagreement and disapproval.

Again I point to what took place here in Texas.

Sadly, America has been desensitized by the godless programming on TV. After thousands-upon-thousands of hours of watching repeated violence, sexual sins, and godless filth...America has lost her moral backbone.  The United States today makes Sodom and Gomorrah look like a NICE places to live. God will never accept homosexuality. God was pleased that king Asa drove the Sodomites out of Judah...

"And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the LORD, as did David his father.  And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made." -1st Kings 15:11,12

Here is what God tells us as well.

2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Folks The God of the Bible is a loving caring personal God. He sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for us and to atone for our sins.

Here is what God’s Word says…

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Rom 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rev 3:20  Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

I would encourage you to not delay in receiving Christ as you Savior today if you have not already done so. He died for your sins, and rose from the dead. He offers you eternal life, but that's your choice to make. I hope you will consider doing that today. If you have, say this prayer with me.

Sinners Prayer:

Father in Heaven, I know that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I need your forgiveness through Jesus Christ who died on the cross just for me to cover the sins that I have committed against you. Please forgive me of my sins and come into my heart. I want to live for you Lord Jesus and from this day forward be known as a Child of God. Thank you for forgiving my sins and coming into my life, in Jesus’ wonderful name. Amen

If you are a Christian, but have fallen away from the Lord, come back to Him. Our Heavenly Father is a good and loving Father. Just ask and commune with Him. You see, He never left your side, we just left Him. Reach out and renew your relationship with Jesus Christ our Savior today.
