Psalm 119:105 Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
Psalm 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.
Psalm 119:165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
In our present day we are seeing the Word of God attacked minimized and
compromised by many like never before. The Bible is God's written word to us for
life and eternity. In John 1:1 we see that Jesus is the Word.

What a great and mighty God we serve!_____________________________________________________________________________
Taken from Morning and Evening Devotions by Charles Spurgeon.
"The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin."
1 John 1:7
"Cleanseth," says the text-not "shall cleanse." There are multitudes who think that as a dying hope they may look forward to pardon. Oh! how infinitely better to have cleansing now than to depend on the bare possibility of forgiveness when I come to die. Some imagine that a sense of pardon is an attainment only ...

God's Word

Phillipians 4:4-9 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
